摘要
In this work we describe several examples concerning integrated photonic devices fabricated in LiNbO3 crystals using Zn in-diffusion technology for the optical circuits fabrication. The planar and channel waveguide fabrication is detailed, and the optical characterization techniques are indicated. Using this technlogy, three kind of integrated photonic devices are described: an integrated laser based on LiNbO3: Nd3+ substrates as an active device, a RGB emitter as non-liner device, and finally an electrooptic modulator based on Mach-Zehnder interferometer as an example of functional-type integrated photonic device.
