摘要
A detailed study of the problem of plane equilibrium Poiseuille flow of an isothermal, incompressible, dipolar fluid exhibiting non-linear viscosity is presented. Estimates are derived for the mean velocity, friction factor and net volume flow associated with such a steady motion, these may be useful in computing bounds for the constitutive constants associated with multipolar fluids.
