摘要：
A field experiment was conducted during 1987-90 to study compatibility of different pulse crops with sugarcane (Saccharum officinarum L.) for maximizing production and income of intercropping system. The maximum net realization (Rs 28,771/ha) was obtained when 'VL 63' French-bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) was intercropped with sugarcane. No significant effect on juice quality and recovery was noticed due to intercrops.
