摘要
The paper presents the results of emission spectra study of chosen ternary Ln/NTA/Tiron systems. The system Tb/NTA/Tiron, exhibiting a very strong Tb(III) luminescence, was chosen for the spectroflourimetric determination of trace amounts of the terbium ion. A new method for terbium(III) determination based on the ternary complex with NTA and Tiron in alkaline medium is proposed. This metod is satisfactory for determination of Tb(III) in the range of 3.3x10(-9)-3.3x10(-7)mol l-1. Influence of an excess of other rare earths, several metal ions and anions upon the Tb(III) determination is discussed.
