摘要
In the final stages of the recharging process of the lead-acid battery, the hydrogen overpotential determines the potential of the negative electrode. If the hydrogen overpotential is low due to the presence of impurities open circuit losses occur due to hydrogen evolution from impurity centers. The addition of alloying ingredients to battery support grids is a conventional process for obtaining properties required by the battery manufacturer, both for production and end product performance.
