摘要
The significance of a specific workplace rehabilitation program becomes apparent when looking at the increasing number employees with disability. This disability is increasingly caused by means of skills shortage, lack of activity and an ever changing disease pattern. Keeping the employee at work until 67 requires both physical as well as psychological health. A total of 123 patients were tested in a rehabilitation center. Different tests were used to measure various parameters such as pain perception, mobility, strength and physical activity. The results indicate that a system using certain predictors can influence the outcome and will help to to provide a means of predicting the patients' recovery rates. Hereby, the parameters pain perception, beginning of rehabilitation and age have the most significant impact in terms of recovery rate. This study should be considered a pilot study due to the sample size and study design. Yet, the significance of implementing quality management within the field of rehabilitation and providing a method for improving recovery rates becomes apparent.
