ENERGY-LOSS RATE OF A PARTICLE IN A MARGINAL FERMI-LIQUID

摘要
The energy-loss rate for a particle in a high-T(c) superconductor in the normal state, modeled by the marginal Fermi liquid, is investigated. For scattering that involves an energy-loss small compared with the temperature, we found the energy-loss rate to be independent of the temperature to leading order (in momentum transfer) and an overall tendency of decreasing with increasing temperature, a behavior quite contrary to that of normal metals.
