摘要：

By means of a prospective analysis of own material, it is concluded very significantly that the use of a cotton swab to take endocervical cytology should be eliminated: 81% of the samples are not representative and therefore ineffective to cover the preventive cytological objective. They were taken with a swab. The use of the ad hoc brush is required.
