摘要：
The new compound Cr(II)Nb(IV)F6 and solid solutions CrNb1-xZrxF6 (almost-equal-to 0.05 less-than-or-equal-to x less-than-or-equal-to 0.34 and 0.75 less-than-or-equal-to x less-than-or-equal-to 1) have been synthesized. Structural determinations, by Rietveld fullprofile technique have been carried out on powdered samples. The tetragonal ''HT'' form of CrNbF6 displays a ferrodistorsive order of elongated CrF6 and compressed NbF6 octahedra induced by a strong cooperative Jahn-Teller effect. Diffuse reflectance spectra of CrNbF6 and of mixed crystals are discussed with reference to ligand field theory.
