摘要
Halosarpheia culmiperda sp. nov., Massarina ricifera sp. nov., Ommatomyces coronatus gen. et sp. nov. and Gaeumannomyces medullaris sp, nov. are described from Juncus roemerianus in North Carolina saltmarshes. Since they always occur in the lower parts of the culms, they can all be considered as obligate marine species; they were found throughout the year. Massarina ricifera is the most frequent among them; H. culmiperda occurs regularly, but in very small numbers, while O. coronatus and especially ascomata of G. medullaris are rather rare. The latter was discovered to be the teleomorph of the recently described Trichocladium medullare which, however, occurs frequently throughout the year. Within the 13 marine species of Halosarpheia, H. culmiperda, is closest to H. viscosa. The new genus Ommatomyces is similar to Amphisphaeria, but ascospore morphology is distinctly different.
