NONCLASSICAL STATISTICAL PROPERTIES OF FIELDS IN SQUEEZED EVEN AND SQUEEZED ODD COHERENT STATES

摘要
We examine the nonclassical statistical properties of the squeezed even and the squeezed odd coherent states defined by the superposed states involving two squeezed coherent states with phase difference pi between their displacement parameters. We demonstrate that the fields in the squeezed even coherent state can exhibit a remarkably enhanced squeezing level and mean photon number in comparison with the input squeezed coherent state. We also give examples of physical processes that lead to such a superposition.
