摘要
Hemicelluloses isolated from rice straw and sugar cane bagasse were investigated as retention aid for fillers. It was shown that addition of hemicelluloses during papermaking improved considerably the retention of clay by softwood pulp. Increassing the added amount of hemicellulose from 5-15% did not increase the retention of clay. The best results were obtained by adding 5% hemicellulose, when the retention value of clay increased with about 50% or even more. Bagasse hemicellulose proved to be a better retention aid for clay than rice straw hemicellulose. The influence of hemicelluloses on the properties of filled paper was studied.
