摘要
In this study, we report the current condition of traditional objects and knowledge of a rural community of Peru. We interviewed approximately 45% of local population who agreed that has been losing its traditional knowledge and objects, encouraged mainly by their young/adolescent relatives that acquire alienated behaviors in cities where they migrate. We obtained in donation a total of 243 traditional objects, many of which with more than 200 years of history. All these objects we cleaned, described and delivered to the local authorities for management of the installation of a museum, also for restoration, preservation and study. From our results, we discussed the importance of the revaluation of traditional culture as a source of social development, contributing mainly in the economy (through tourism), education and the environment. Traditional objects and knowledge have a deep respect for nature and, therefore, are ecologically friendly.
