KEEPING TRACK OF CONDUCTION ELECTRONS

Thc method of transverse electron focusing allows the study of conduction electrons which move at precisely known cyclotron orbits. As the electrons are injected and detected by means of point contacts at fixed positions, the orbits in real space are known as well. This paper reports the results of spectroscopic experiments with ballistic electrons in electron focusing and related geometries.
