摘要：

The paper deals with the analysis of concept of social exclusion and social inclusion in conditions of Slovak Republic. The aim of this paper is to reveal the theoretical discourse of concept of social exclusion and social inclusion, to deal with analysis of population groups at the risk of social exclusion at the regional level - county during the period 2004 - 2010 and consequently paper analyses the spatial distribution of the instruments of structural policy of the European Union, aimed at the promotion of social inclusion in Slovak republic during the period 2004 - 2010.
