摘要：

There have been several results on the practical stability of delay systems with Smith controllers but none thus far for systems with finite spectrum assignment. In this paper, the practical stability of finite spectrum-assigned delay systems is considered. It is shown that such systems, like Smith systems, may also suffer from a practical stability problem. Further, conditions for practical stability are established under mild assumptions, and an example is included for illustration.
