摘要
Micro graphite electrodes, chronically implanted in small animal brains, have been used for some time to monitor continuously changes of electroactive species in situ. This study examines some of the fundamental electrochemical characteristics of these electrodes in solution and in vivo. A restricted mass transport model is proposed which appears to explain the unusual chronoamperometric results obtained during brain measurements. © 1979 Elsevier Sequoia S.A.
