摘要：
The essay explores the recent literature concerned with Mexico-United States relationships, from the 1880s to 1948. With that purpose in mind, a corpus of seventy-two monographic studies has been analyzed, in order to build a general framework of this bibliography. The main goal is to present its composition and diversification; to account for its themes, approaches and actors, as well as to evaluate some of the major results provided by these researches.
