摘要：

Franz Kafka's work named Donusum, which was published in the name Die Verwandlung, is the foremost one that has influenced a lot of authors in Turkish literature as well as World literature. This influence is especially concerned with transformation metaphor. Murat Gulsoy's story named Gecmis Zaman Elbiseleri bears important signs regarding this issue. The story involved in the works named Alemlerin Surekliligi and Diger Hikayeler is the continuation of Tanpinar's story having the same name. Having this feature, Gulsoy's story is added to Turkish literature as a work worth examining under lots of subheadings, the first and foremost of which is rewriting in the context of intertextuality. In this study, the similarities between Murat Gulsoy's Gecmis Zaman Elbiseleri and Donusum are studied.
