摘要
The influence of gamma-irradiation on low-temperature thermal conductivity kappa(T) and the spectra of optical and paramagnetic absorption of MgO crystals with OH- impurity ions is investigated. It is shown that irradiation leads to strong accumulation of hydrogen-containing centres and ions of Cr2+ and Fe2+ causing significant changes of kappa(T) in crystals. The annealing experiments reveal that in the radiative change of kappa(T) the contribution of hydrogen-containing hole centres is significant.
