摘要
The force vs. distance curve for an edge dislocation interacting with an interstitial impurity in b.c.c. iron is calculated. Similar calculations have been carried out previously for an impurity vacancy pair and a screw dislocation in LiF. It is shown that calculating for an edge dislocation rather than for a screw dislocation leads to better agreement between theory and experiment for LiF. © 1968.
