摘要
The laser spectroscopic study of the orange band system of SrO near 596 nm is presented. Two 3Π-3Π transitions are identified, the lower state being a3Π (v = 0) in both cases. The previously unknown upper states are named f3Π and g3Π. Fluorescence from f- and g-state levels to the X1Σ+ ground state and a new 3Σ+ state (called b3Σ+) are assigned. Perturbations are observed in the g3Π2-a3Π2 (0, 0) band. Spectroscopic constants are determined in a combined fit of the measured f-a, g-a, f-b, g-b, f-X, and g-X transitions.
