摘要
Plasmatechnology is due to flexibility with respect to the choice of process parameters and the design of the treatment equipment one of the major industrial technologies to activate, clean, functionalise or coat almost any material surfaces. This publication focuses on the plasma treatment at atmospheric pressure and shows its potential for applications that had been or have been dominated by low pressure plasma processes. It is further shown, that an economic integration of an atmospheric plasma process into the textile production process chain is possible when the complete production process including also modification of wet-chemical process steps is considered. The development of the new Diffuse Coplanar Surface Barrier Discharge (DCSBD) process allows for the first time the plasma treatment even of very sensitive surfaces selectively on one side. Furthermore, with suitable equipment, surfaces of three dimensional parts can be treated homogenously shown with the help of a surface metallization following the plasma treatment of the 3D plastic parts. Finally examples for the atmospheric plasma treatment in the field of biofunctionalisation are given.
