摘要
In this paper we present research results which prove that there is a relationship between immigrant population's educational level and the process of acculturation that they experience. From the perspective of acculturation and sociocultural and psychological adaptation, the tests applied show that the educational level achieved by immigrants has a direct effect on their adaptation processes; thus, those who have a higher educational background are the ones who achieve the best results in their adaptation to the host society and the ones who maintain a better social interaction with native inhabitants.
