摘要
Fluorescence polarisation techniques are usually employed in the investigation of either orientation in frozen media or molecular mobility in isotropic media. The theory of fluorescence polarisation has been recently extended by the authors to the case where both orientation and mobility are present. An apparatus is described which permits simultaneous determination of orientation and mobility in a uniaxial distribution of moving molecules. It is well studied to the study of the rheological behaviour of polymers under stretching.
