摘要
Vacuum liquid chromatography (VLC) was used for the separation of iridoids isolated from Valeriana officinalis L. and Centranthus ruber D. C. (Valerianaceae), Plantago media L. (Plantaginaceaea), Viburnum lantana L. (Caprifoliaceae), Gentiana punctata L. and Erythraea centaurium Pers. (Gentianaceae). The advantages of the technique over preparative thin layer chromatography and open-column chromatography are discussed. Decapetaloside was isolated from V. lantana for the first time as were sweroside and swertiamarin from G. punctata. Florisil was used for the first time as an adsorbent for VLC.
