Health education practices of elementary school physical educators

摘要
The purpose of this study is to examine how elementary school physical educators integrate health education into physical education classes. Ten physical educators were studied through a multiple case study design. Data were collected for all the participants by ( a) self-administered questionnaire, (b) analysis of classroom videos and (c) semi structured interview. Results show that physical educators barely integrate health education in physical education classes. Indeed, they use their traditional physical education exercises and evaluations modes, rather than a clear process of integrating the theoretical and practical health education frameworks.
