SI-29 NMR-SPECTROSCOPY OF CYCLOPENTASILANES

摘要
The structure and Si-29 chemical shifts of the halodimethylsilylnonamethylcyclopentasilanes Si5Me9SiMe2X (1-4) and the halononamethylcyclopentasilanes Si5Me9X (5-8) (X = F, Cl, Br, I) have been assigned using 1J(Si-Si) and 2J(Si-Si) coupling constants derived from Si-29-INADEQUATE and Si-29-INEPT-INADEQUATE NMR spectra. The compounds exhibit good correlation between chemical shift, 1J(Si-Si) and Pauling electronegativities.
