摘要
We report on an investigation of second Stokes generation in a Raman amplifier, during which we observed a pattern of narrow, approximately radial lines in the second Stokes far-field distribution. This previously unreported phenomenon, and other features in the far field, can be explained by a combination of diffuse scattering and four-wave mixing. © 1995 The American Physical Society.
