摘要：

A numerical method is proposed for solving linear multidimensional hyperbolic systems of equations. Its convergence is proved. The construction of difference equations for regions with boundaries of arbitrary shape is described. The method is applied to the special case of an axisymmetric problem of the dynamics of an elastic solid. Results of numerical computations are discussed.
