Some features of representation of the early centuries of Russian history in historical writings of the 16th century

In article some features of the image of the earliest period of Russian history in in historical writings of the 16th century (in Russkij hronograf, Nikonovskaja letopis', Voskresenskaja letopis', Stepennaja kniga, etc.) are considered. The basic attention is given to two principal causes so-called unique events. The first has been connected with aspiration of "historians" of the 16th century to create an image of uniform and powerful Russian "derzawa" already in the ancient time. The second was caused by high degree of "mobilization" available sources helping in adding of Russian history by new events.
