摘要
The structure of 2,3'-anhydrosucrose was determined by direct methods and refined anisotropically to R = 0.026 for 2511 unique observed reflections. The title compound (C12H20O10) crystallizes in space group P2(1) with lattice parameters a = 8.659(1) angstrom, b = 7.723(1) angstrom, c = 10.201(1) angstrom, beta = 98.30(1)degrees, Z = 2. The molecule contains a six-membered D-glucopyranosyl ring and a five-membered D-fructofuranosyl one. These rings are connected through O1 and O2 oxygen bridges. Comparison of 2,3'-anhydrosucrose with related sucrose reveals considerable difference in the D-fructofuranosyl ring conformation (3T4 for sucrose and E4 for 2,3'-anhydrosucrose). The structure is held together by intermolecular hydrogen bonds.
