摘要：

The article describes the history of industrial enterprises evacuation to the Urals from the western part of the USSR, and industrial-military complex formation. The author analyzes the processes accompanying the militarization of the Ural industrial production, characterizing the sources of workforce reproduction, and revealing the reasons for the increase in military enterprises production. Additionally, the article determines the correlation between the rationalizer patriotic movement contribution to the military industrial production and that of special squads forced to work.
