摘要
In order to detect fast neutrons, the kodak CA 80-15 plastic detector can be used either as a screen in neutron radiography or as a neutron dosimeter. We have examined the influence of foil illumination on the image contrast. Especially for 14.9 MeV neutron dosimetry, we describe a helium converter test unit which increases the detection efficiency of cellulose nitrate plastic detectors by a factor of 3. © 1979.
