摘要
Two models of polymers with quenched short-range random self-interactions are studied by means of perturbation theory and the RG method. The annealed part of the randomness results in effective two-body attraction, whereas the quenched part results in repulsion. The critical dimension of this repulsion is two. In the random charge model considered the repulsion due to the quenched randomness can cause the swelling of the polymer. The swelling exponent is computed to order epsilon-2 (epsilon = 2 - d).
