摘要
The approximate parameters of steadystate D-T fusion reactors can be predicted on the basis of present knowledge, provided some interim assumptions are made. The most speculative assumption is plasma confinement. Almost as serious is the assumption that flux 3x10//1//8/sq m/sec of 14 Mev neutrons will not cause excessive radiation damage to the device. A simple plasma model includes particle injection with or without energy, particle loss, electron bremsstrahlung and synchrotron radiaton, thermalization of alpha particles (from fusion) and energy exchange among all species.
