摘要：
In a clinical trial of infusion of glucose-insulin-potassium solution in 70 patients with acute myocardial infarction, the beneficial effects seem clear: a reduction in hospital mortality, improved left ventricular performance, and reduced cardiac irritability. Suppression of free fatty acids may be a key factor in success. The dosages used were several times higher than those used in earlier studies.
