RECENT WARMING IN EASTERN CANADA INFERRED FROM GEOTHERMAL MEASUREMENTS

Borehole temperature measurements from several sites in eastern Canada were analyzed to determine recent step changes in ground surface temperature. Inversion of the data suggests a warming by 1 to 2-degrees-C in the last 100 years for most of the sites analyzed.
