The formation of CH radicals in hydrocarbon atom flames

摘要
The support for the reaction CH + O-2 --> OH* + CO and CH + O --> CHO+ e from former work and the conclusion from this work that the precursor of CH in several hydrocarbon-atom flames cannot be a hydrogen-containing radical have led to the proposal of C2O + H --> CH + CO as the main source of CH in atom flames. The possibility of this mechanism for hot hydrocarbon combustion has been discussed.
