摘要：

Homes vulnerability can be interpreted from two approaches: On one hand the access to a better life quality associated with the opportunities structure present in a special geographical environment. On the other hand the budget limitations which prevent homes from the appropriation of assets for them to improve their quality of life. In this proposal, the vulnerability conditions of Mexican homes are analyzed using the gender perspective. For this purpose, homes are differentiated according to the sex of the person identified as the head of household using the 2010 Homes Income and Expenses National Survey -HIENS-as a source of information
