Effect of hydrogen on deformability of VT22 and VT22I titanium alloys at normal temperature

摘要
The effect of hydrogen on the structure and mechanical properties of VT22 and VT22I high-strength titanium alloys during cold deformation was studied. During deformation the beta-phase undergoes transformation into alpha ''-martensite. then inco a phase With ii bct-crystal lattice. The conditions for these transformations (stresses and reduction ratio) depend on the content of hydrogen and aluminum in the alloys. The optimal concentrations of hydrogen in alloys were Found. making it possible ru significantly improve the plasticity and simultaneously reduce the resistance to deformation.
