The political act (or on the unconscious as an anti-state order)

This paper analyzes, as from semiotic theory, the notion of act, different from those of actuation and competence. Based on these semiotic notions, and on others borrowed from Lacan and Winnicott's psychoanalytic theory, the author proposes a structure that illustrates the production of the act. Max Weber's considerations on politics, semiotic modality theory and Lacan's notion of jouissance, are used to highlight the general structure of the political act, in regards to the conflictive relationship between the subject and the State.
