摘要
Identifying the level of media literacy / media competence of different population groups - an important task, but it requires a significant change in emphasis: in the first place on the importance of skills to be indicators of the audience to analyze and evaluate the media sphere and its role in society (including the analysis of media texts), and only then, such as the ability to create and dissemination of its own media production and skills (often or rarely) use of media equipment. Otherwise summarizing public opinion polls on the subject of media competence can lead to the usual flaws - the dominant user skills.
