A HIGH-SPEED VERSATILE WAVEFORM GENERATOR FOR ELECTROCHEMICAL TECHNIQUES

摘要
A high speed waveform generator capable of producing symmetrical and asymmetrical triangular ramps and pulses is described. Conventional analog circuitry is used to synthesize potential ramps at scan rates ranging from 10-3 to 105Vs-1. Digital circuitry is used to produce potential pulses ranging from 1 ms to 100 s in duration. The initial, upper, lower and final potential limits can be set independently over a ± 10 V range. The initial scan direction can be preselected and the instrument can operate in a single or repetitive mode. A waveform can be stopped, held and restarted at any potential by pressing a series of front panel switches.
