摘要
The results of the creation of chemical models of biological nitrogen fixation, activation of dioxygen in the enzymatic hydroxylation of the C-H bond in alkanes, and the formation of dioxygen in the process of photosynthesis are discussed with the aim of understanding why the metals which participate in the corresponding enzymes for performing these biological processes have been chosen by Nature. The possibilities of mimicking the natural processes by means of chemical catalysts based on the same metals are demonstrated.
