Scientific and patent data on the oligomerization of ethylene, propylene, but-1-ene, 1-hexene and 1-octene under the action of quasihomogeneous and heterogenized complex zirconium-containing catalysts combined with organic aluminium derivatives in the period from 1973 to 1992 are classified and generalized.
