摘要
A method has been developed for the preparation of uniform nanometre-sized oxide particles of importance in colloidal ceramic processing. Contrary to the generally accepted view that each emulsion droplet acts as an isolated microreactor, we can demonstrate that within the investigated size range the exchange of material between the emulsion droplets determines the final size of the oxide particles. The characteristics of thin layers prepared from the colloidal oxide particles were investigated by X-ray diffraction techniques and atomic force microscopy.
