摘要
This study reports on the use of the second metacarpal holographic point therapy for pain relief following abdominal surgery. One hundred postoperative patients were divided evenly into an acupuncture group and a control group. In the acupuncture group, acupoints "Wei Xue" and "Gandan Xue," located along the second metacarpal bone were needled after surgery. The total effective rate for the acupuncture group was 92%. This therapy is simple, safe, mastered easily and is without side effects.
