摘要
The thermal mixing formation of the C1b-PtMnSb phase has been investigated for multilayered Pt/Mn/Sb films having a modulation wavelength of composition of 5 nm. Films consisting of almost a single phase of PtMnSb were successively produced, where second phases such as PtMn and PtSb2 appeared depending on the average composition of the multilayers and on the conditions for the thermal mixing process. Some samples have the preferred orientation of the film with the normal in the <011> or <111> direction. The magnetic properties of the films were not influenced remarkably by such preferred orientations but by the presence of the second phases.
