A ROSAT OBSERVATION OF THE X-RAY PULSARS X0142+614 AND X0146+612

摘要
A ROSAT pointing has secured the identities of two X-ray pulsars. X0146 + 612 is a Be/neutron star binary with a 1412-s spin period, the slowest known. X0142 + 614 is an 8.6-s pulsar, and probably a low-mass X-ray binary. With three very similar stars, it forms a group of probable 'low-mass X-ray pulsars', which either are very young or have magnetic fields that do not decay as a result of accretion.
